The Gateway to Work provisions is designed to provide you with a package of support and information to help prepare you for your employment, provide a short intensive programme of job search support to maximise your prospects of employment initially, to signpost you to other services and provisions that may help you achieve your goals.
The programme can include:
- Intensive job search
- Interview techniques
- Work trials and work experience
- Information on the options available to you
- Developing the effective CV
- Visits from local employers and self employment agency’s
- One day’s visiting labour market
- Developing effective job search skills
