We have trained and qualified staff who can help you with advice on which course to take, advise on jobsearch activities, assist with the completion of application forms and give helpful hints on interview techniques.
They can also help in more specialised areas like literacy and numeracy difficulties, dyslexia screening and challenging behaviour.
The key people are our External Operations Team: Karen Maitchell, Jeanette Gair and Dawn Huntrod. Elaine Manuel, our Youth Co-ordinator, is another key contact.

We provide a free bus service for learners with pick up points in the following areas:
South Church / Henknowle, Bishop Auckland, Tindale Crescent, West Auckland, Coundon, Middlestone Moor, Spennymoor, Tudhoe, Ferryhill, Chilton, Newton Aycliffe, Hunwick, Willington, Stanley-Crook, Sunnyside, Tow Law, Crook, Howden Le Wear.
Childcare Support
If you are applying for one of our LSC funded courses you may be eligible to be reimbursed for any childcare expenses incurred, if your child/children is/are placed with a registered childminder or nursery.
If you are on one of our Jobcentre Plus programmes, subject to certain criteria being met with the Jobcentre and if your child/children is/are placed with a registered childminder or nursery you may be entitled to help with the cost of childcare.
