Quality
S&D Training recognise that our staff are the main means of achieving excellence and maintaining high standards.
We are committed to making use of the talents and resources of our staff and we recognize that each of our staff are equally important in contributing their particular skills and expertise to ensure that we provide a quality service to our learners.
Delivery
The delivery of each course is tailored to suit the specific needs of each learner. An initial assessment will identify any areas in need of development as well as any basic skills requirements. This Initial assessment takes place before starting on a program and consists of information compiled from the following sources:
• Recruiting procedures
• Basic Skills and Key Skills tests
• Practical assessments
• Feedback from clients
• Review documentation
This information is then used to create the Individual Learning Plan.
What is a Learning Plan?
A Learning Plan is a document that includes details of learner activities past and present and is a key tool in planning your learning. They are a brilliant way of recording what you have learned and achieved and what you would like to do in the future. It can help you gain control over your future and make getting on in life easier! All we require is commitment from you!
The support plan and subsequent learning plan may be modified during the program by agreement.
Each course or program will be delivered over various platforms with elements of on and off the job training. Regular in-centre workshops will be held to address any areas in need of consolidation. Alongside practical support with portfolio building and support and help with key/functional skills. Equal Opportunities are also incorporated into the main company induction.
